For the first time of this adventure did we need to abandon a feature. Not forever, but for the time being. The PS/2 I thougth was so cleverly created had some timing issues that would not be solved easily, so we did the mature thing and postponed that feature to be able to progress in the overall system development.
With that said, we actually ordered the 3 revision of the board, as soon as we decided to skip the PS/2 for the time being.
The “C” revision will contain several bus stabalizing features, such as several new pull ups/downs. And also a brand spanking new Compact Flash expansion header.
And on the software side have both me and my son been working on creating a BIOS with a full set of system calls for every part of the hardware. With an accompanying C header for easier OS developement.
